Red Blazer Converts 100 kW Generator to Burn Vegetable Oil

Concord, NH - Amenico President and CEO Tony Giunta reports that on June 11, 2008, representatives from Golden Fuel Systems, the leader in vegetable oil diesel engine conversion technology, traveled from Washington, D.C. to convert the Red Blazer’s 100 kW generator to run on their fryer grease.
AMENICO and Golden Fuel Systems have forged a strategic partnership allowing Golden Fuel technology to be placed in other diesel applications. Via this technology, the restaurant can now power their facility using what was once a waste product.
This new technology supplements their already impressive list of environmentally sustainable upgrades including a boiler that burns fryer grease to provide all of their hot water needs.”
