As more members join our team, AMENICO uses its superior buying power to purchase ever larger quantities of high quality zero trans-fat (a must in today’s health conscious world) fryer oils at the lowest possible price. Our cost savings are then passed on at little or no mark-up to our valued AmeniPro members. In exchange for those huge savings, we require our members to return all fryer oil to AMENICO.
In addition to the cost benefits, teaming with AMENICO immediately shows the world you care about the environment. At AMENICO, we practice what we preach. First and foremost, we do not convert used vegetable oils to biodiesel-a practice that has been criticized for using more energy than it creates. Instead, AMENICO refines our collected cooking oils and puts them to use locally-where they are distributed in your community as alternative fuels for transportation, heat, and electrical production. As our guiding principle, we firmly believe every gallon of recycled vegetable oil used as a local fuel helps offset the demand for foreign oil, helps reduce harmful global warming carbon emissions, and helps America become more energy independent! Joining AmeniPro also means you’ve become part of Co-operative. As a member, you’ll receive a membership package containing a tabletop display card and window placards. These attractive displays proudly inform your patrons that you’re doing your part to recycle, help lower energy costs, reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil, and reduce green-house gas emissions. You’ll be eligible for discounts on fuel grade recycled vegetable oil and energy saving devices. We will also highlight your establishment in periodic news releases and in the Supporting Members section of this website.
