Background:
American Energy Independence Company, LLC (AMENICO) located at 5 Main Street in Pittsfield, NH, was formed on November 6, 2006, and is a New Hampshire registered Limited Liability Company.
Business Model:
AMENICO collects, then via a proprietary processing technique, converts recycled cooking oils into a biomass based renewable diesel fuel. AMENICO renders our own cooking oils and contract purchases tens of thousands of additional gallons of recycled cooking oil feedstock to meet our ever-growing demand.
Mission:
At AMENICO, our mission is in our name, American Energy Independence. Our commitment is to use every gallon of rendered oil to directly offset foreign energy imports. Our competition typically sells their rendered oils to the highest bidder. As a result, local resources end up as animal feed fatteners (thus getting back into the human food chain), shipped overseas to be converted to cosmetics, or, ironically, it ends up as fuel for other foreign nations. Partnering with AMENICO means you’re doing your part to reduce local fuel prices and ultimately strengthen OUR country’s security.

We are a New England based company centered in Pittsfield, NH. Many talk about building a “Green Economy” and creating “Green Jobs”-but at AMENICO, we’re actually doing it!
